Project Description
Once a Nob Hill boardinghouse and restaurant, the Colonial Revival–style Portland home has been lovingly restored by its project-loving designer owners. One of the major projects was the kitchen, which had been covered up by cheap cabinets and appliances temporarily mounted to the surface—a product of the 1970s. Beneath the ’70s-era additions was original white, hexagonal floor tiling and green, brick-set, crackle-glazed tiles along the walls.
