Project Description
The project was to create a coworking salon space in the heart of the North Loop. Veteran beauty insiders wanted to create a new brand for this project and thought the space should be the biggest part of the new brand. They searched for spaces in the historic North Loop Neighborhood that had light, character, and an interaction with the neighborhood. “A great salon has a vibe you can feel,” said Betsy Vohs, Studio BV Founder and CEO. “The space we designed for Arch Salon creates that energy and action that creates a connection both inside the salon and out to the neighborhood.”
The space embraced the historic building and the curves of the materials and forms in the space contrast the brick and old warehouse character of the space. The two-story salon features areas for styling and spa services
The styling floor features floor to ceiling windows and create a stage like performance for the stylists to show the neighborhood their skills as they work.
Overall, this salon is modern and elegant and features a new community focused on beauty in the North Loop.
