Project Description
Gemini embodies modern, elevated living. The
unique property was designed as twin geometries
split at the center, resulting in two multi-level paired homes overlooking Boulder’s beautiful Pearl Street
neighborhood. In order to accomplish this task, Sopher Sparn Architects took our clients from annexation to zoning to design. The site is steeply sloping from the west creating a unique platform to build.
The interior of the homes was custom designed on each side, with primary spaces on the second and third floors and tertiary spaces on the first floor. By keeping primary living spaces above the street level, noise is mitigated in addition to providing an elevated view through large, floor-to-ceiling windows. A wine cellar, exercise room, and office expand the space into luxury living. Each side of the duplex has balconies at multiple levels, while the stone wall between them divides the space for privacy.
