Project Description

Upgrades to North Texas’ women’s basketball facilities provide the Mean Green with spaces that articulate the program’s identity, showcase the UNT brand and boost excitement for the future of the program. North Texas’ brand marks inspire a paint mask — the angular sections of black paint with green trim — throughout the facility. Without overwhelming the space, the effect creates cohesive branding and draws the eye to impact graphics throughout the offices. The Light the Tower graphic is the focal point of the locker room, its dimensional text signifying the North Texas campus tradition of lighting McConnell Tower green after major victories and during special occasions. Altogether, dynamic graphics and brand-inspired design give North Texas a facility that’s a comfortable home for players and a showpiece for recruits and families.
