Details: Launched by Brooklyn, N.Y.–based architecture collective Terraform One, The One Prize seeks submissions on vertical farming, land reclamation, hydroponic facilities, and other design solutions addressing urban agriculture. Entries will be judged by a panel including Cameron Sinclair, founder of Architecture for Humanity; Ben Schwegler, chief scientist of Walt Disney Imagineering; Dickson Despommier, professor in the department of environmental health sciences at Columbia University; and William J. Mitchell, professor of architecture and media arts and sciences at MIT. One grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize.
