Project Description

The Indonesia pavilion includes multiple stages, allowing visitors to learn about aspects of the country’s food production and culture. Visitors can experience the country’s natural resources in 3D through the oculus exhibition and taste native foods in the restaurant or ampitheater.

Theme: "The Stage of the World"

FROM MILAN EXPO 2015:

The pavilion represents a house that contains many activities. A home, that is familiar to the Indonesian. Just like their homeland. Indonesian people call their homeland TANAH AIR (Tanah = Land, Air = Water). The design concept of the Pavilion refers to the interaction between farmers and fishing communities in The Nusantara (An Indonesian word for Archipelago) via the Bubu (a traditional tool to catch fish), and the Lumbung (a traditional storage for harvest yields).
