Project Description

Planned and designed by AD&V, Bayshore Villas is a mixed-use and mixed income housing development comprising 12 new buildings over a three-block, nine-acre area.

Located on the site of the former Puerta de Tierra public housing project near Old San Juan, the Bayshore Villas development includes 174 units ranging from 600 to 1,400 square feet, more than 5,800 square feet of commercial space, and 6,000 square feet designated for community and administrative uses.

The project features energy-efficient systems, environmentally safe materials and pedestrian-friendly streets, as well as active design including indoor and outdoor space for children and adults. Bayshore Villas also restores the original urban design plans developed for the area in 1870, and reconnects the northern and southern sectors of the neighboring Puerta de Tierra community for the first time in over a half a century.
