On April 22, 2015, the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation unveiled renderings of a new museum campus in Mount Pleasant, S.C., being designed by Somerville, Mass.–based Safdie Architects. The National Medal of Honor Museum will include a pavilion, a museum building, and a chapel. Gallagher & Associates, based in Silver Spring, Md., is handling the museum planning and design.
