The IALD Nominations and Elections Committee is currently seeking candidates for open positions starting in 2005 on the Board of Directors and Membership Committee. The available positions are:
President Elect, a four-year term
Director of Education, a two-year term
Director of External Affairs, a two-year term
Director of Membership, a two-year term
Director at Large, a three-year term
Membership Committee, two open positions for a two-year term
Candidates may be placed on the ballot in two ways: Candidates may submit in writing a statement of candidacy with their name, membership grade, position for which they wish to be considered and a brief statement of qualifications and interest. Or, a voting member of the IALD may nominate in writing a candidate. The candidate with the greatest number of nominations from the membership for each position will be placed on the ballot. They should be submitted in writing, and e-mail and fax are acceptable.
