Osram Sylvania releases online tool

Osram Sylvania has released an online calculator to determine the mercury content in the company’s products for specifiers pursuing the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB). The tool, which consists of an Excel spreadsheet in which users enter data such as the number and type of lamps used, will help customers meet the LEED-EB Materials and Resources/MR Prerequisite #2 ‘Toxic Material Source Reduction – Reduced Mercury in Light Bulbs’ standard.
