LFI Announces Attendee Breakdowns for 2008

Lightfair International (LFI) published the breakdown of attendees for Lightfair International 2008, the architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference that was held in Las Vegas in May, 2008. Over 19,800 attendees registered for the show, a record breaking number that made LFI 2008 the largest show in its history in Las Vegas. LFI reports attendees from 62 countries and every U.S. state. 510 national and international manufacturers showcased their products.

LFI broke down the attendees as follows:

  • Architects, Consultants, Specifiers, Facility Managers/Owners, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers & Visual Merchandisers 16.0%
  • Electrical Engineers & Engineers 13.1%
  • Lighting Designers (Architectural & Theatrical) 9.7%
  • ESCO-Energy Service Company & Contractors (Electrical & General) 8.4%
  • Lighting Retailers & Distributors (Lighting & Electrical) 21.0%
  • Representatives 20.2%
  • Others, including students 11.6%
