Project Description
Situated atop a mountain in Eden, Utah within an area of the Summit Powder Mountain Development known as “The Overlook Phase I,” this new single-family dwelling is a single-story house from the boardwalk and follows the profile of the topography. The dwelling is orientated south to optimize solar heat gain and reduce heat loss. Views of the valley are to the south through the living room/kitchen window wall, enclosed patio, and bedroom windows. Natural materials such as reclaimed wood, patinated copper, and stone cladding contribute to the Powder Mountain design language of “heritage modern.”
