vPPR Architects Wins The Architects’ Journal’s 2015 Emerging Woman Architect of the Year Award

The three co-founders of the six year-old London-based firm won the award which recognizes up-and-coming leadership in the design industry.

London-based vPPR Architects co-founders Tatiana von Preussen, Catherine Pease, and Jessica Reynold received the fourth annual Emerging Woman Architect of the Year Award. The award, given by The Architects’ Journal, honors rising female architects who excel in design and thought-leadership.

vPPR Architects has received recognition in other well-known award competitions. In 2014, the practice was shortlisted for RIBA London’s Emerging Architect of the Year Award, and its residential project, Ott’s Yard, won the RIBA London Award and was shortlisted for the 2014 RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize.

The 2015 Emerging Woman Architect of the Year Award’s shortlist included Purcell’s Laura Highton, Stitch founder Sally Lewis, DRDH’s Jillian Jones, Citizen Design Bureau’s Katy Marks, Mediamundo Arcquitectos’ Marta Pelegrin, Croydon Council’s Chloe Phelps, and Williamson Chong Architects’ Betsy Williamson.

Last year’s Emerging Woman Architect of the Year Award went to researcher and designer Julia King.
