Project Description
Connecticut Avenue is lined with grand apartment buildings, dating from the late 1800s and early 1900s at the south end and giving way to Art Moderne, Art Deco, and postwar buildings to the north. Our building is the 21st-century culmination of this progression, with layered façades and a high degree of transparency. The angled wings express the relationship between Washington’s orthogonal grid and diagonal avenues. The open nature of the main entry façade provides visual interest and enables views through the lobby to the landscaped courtyard beyond.
