Cascade Coil GuardianCoil

Cascade Coil Drapery—with its affiliated company, Cascade Coil Defense System—has released GuardianCoil, a blast-mitigation fabric. The fabric, made of interwoven metal coils, stops or entraps flying objects—such as glass shards and other materials from external primary or secondary bomb blasts and explosions—and has a proprietary retainment system. Possible applications include embassies, consulates, airports, military bases, government office buildings, and hotels. It is available in four major weaves, ranging from 3/32″ to 1/4″ and in customizable colors. It is translucent and can be configured to fit any size window. guardiancoil.com
