NAHB National Green Building Conference

1 MIN READ

Leading architects, builders, remodelers, and building scientists will gather in a few weeks in Nashville, Tenn., for this year’s NAHB National Green Building Conference & Expo, April 29-May 1. Programming includes six pre-conference educational sessions ranging from Advanced Building Science and Advanced Green Building Project Management to courses leading toward accreditations for Certified Graduate Builder and Certified Graduate Remodeler.

The conference kicks off April 29 with NAHB’s annual Green Building & Technology tour of exemplary green homes before educational sessions and exhibits open April 30.

This year’s session lineup includes exclusive energy-efficiency courses from the Energy & Environmental Building Alliance, drawing from the organization’s well-known Houses That Work educational series covering air sealing, energy-efficient remodeling, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.

The evening of April 30 features the 2012 National Green Building Awards Dinner, where high-performance projects selected from a wide range of markets, designs, and technical solutions will be recognized for their excellence.

Exhibit hours on both days provide plenty of time to meet with the more than 100 suppliers at the show, without missing any of the educational programming.
