Product: Taktl Vectr

Pittsburgh-based company Taktl has overcome the shortcomings of conventional concrete—such as the lack of both flexural strength and freeze-thaw resistance—with its eponymous ultrahigh-performance concrete. In addition to casting outdoor furniture, Taktl uses its proprietary mixture to make Vectr façade and wall panels, which can be installed outdoors, indoors, and as a rainscreen. The 1/2″-thick panels, available in a maximum size of 3’10” by 9′, do not require a finish coat. Eight colors and textures, including Crinkle (shown), are offered. taktl-llc.com
