Outdoor Collection from Cassina

Designs from iconic designers find new life outside

1 MIN READ

Classic Modern pieces by iconic designers—Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand—come to life outdoors with a new collection by Cassina that includes the LC1 and LC7 small armchairs, LC3 armchair and sofa, the LC8 stool, the LC10-P table series, and the LC4 chaise lounge. The furniture’s stainless steel tubular frames, drainable cushions with natural fibers, and water-resistant upholstery evoke a contemporary aesthetic while protecting against the elements. In recreating the circa-1928 pieces, the company worked closely with the Le Corbusier Foundation and Perriand’s daughter Pernette Pierriand-Barsac, as well as design historian Arthur Ruegg.
