Project Description

Washington University in St. Louis’ Harold D. Jolley Hall on the Danforth Campus was renovated in 2016 to provide a new home for the Computer Science Engineering Department. The existing building of approximately 52,000 square feet underwent a renovation that included approximately 32,000 square feet of the building’s interior space. Included in the renovation was a 5-story communicating stair designed into an existing atrium space that improved the department’s previous lack of vertical connectivity. The main functions of the renovated space were the department suite, faculty offices, student areas, break rooms/restrooms, computer labs/data closets and conference rooms.
