Strasbourg Cathedral

The recent renovation of the historic 1439 Strasbourg Cathedral in Strasbourg, France, won a Commendable Achievement in the Exterior Lighting category from our sister lighting publication. Writes associate editor Katharine Keane: “Despite the structure’s UNESCO World Heritage Site status … the recent restoration of the cathedral by local firm L’Atelier d’Architecture JCBA with lighting design firm L’Acte Lumière took only four years from planning to completion.
