Located on the waterfront of historic Fells Point, Union Wharf is a 281-unit, mixed-use development that embodies the character of its unique setting. The project features open, loft-like residences overlooking the harbor and multiple courtyards. A series of community amenity spaces wrap the main courtyard and a dramatic pool and water element stretches from the building lobby to the water’s edge. A combination of residential units and retail uses are designed below the podium level. Union Wharf is currently completing its LEED NC v3 Design submission process and is pursuing a high Silver LEED Certification. Sustainable Strategies include: 43% modeled water use reduction; 27% modeled energy use reduction; 100% purchased green power; dense urban infill location; wrapper building around parking garage; reflective roof; minimum 75% construction waste management; minimum 20% recycled content; minimum 20% regional materials; green housekeeping; and tenant education.
