A bit over three years have passed since the Atlanta Braves announced that they were leaving Turner Field and building a new ballpark, and tonight the team plays their first regular-season game in the new 41,149-seat structure designed by Populous. (The team played an exhibition game against the New York Yankees on March 31.) The $672 million SunTrust Park abuts The Battery Atlanta, a 1.5 million-square-foot mixed-use development designed by Wakefield Beasley & Associates.
