We’re honored and thrilled to announce that ARCHITECT’s October 2017 cover-story package, “The Climate is Changing. So Must Architecture.” has won the 2018 Grand Neal Award in the 64th Annual Jesse H. Neal Awards. The package also won best subject-related package in the brand revenue with more than $7 million category.

“With strong prose and telling photography, Architect offers wise counsel from practioners and insurers,” said Bill McDowell, the vice president and editorial director of MTG Media Group and the vice chair of the Neal Award’s judge’s selection committee, in a press release. “It shows how to do well while doing good, even as it calls out its profession for far too few firms realizing carbon-neutral performance.”

Editor-in-chief Ned Cramer accepted the awards at a ceremony in New York City today. “It’s rewarding to know that our peers in the world of journalism share the concerns about climate change,” Cramer said.
